What is an Orphan Page?
An orphan page is a web page that doesn’t have any internal links pointing to it from elsewhere on the site. It can be difficult for search engine web crawlers to find these pages.

Hyperlinks enable web crawlers to navigate from page to page on the internet, discovering new content. Simply put, search engine crawlers have a tough time finding orphan pages because they have no entry points.
The only way that a web crawler may be able to find an orphan page is if it is documented in the website’s XML sitemap. Otherwise, it will be lost.
When a page can’t be crawled, it can’t be indexed. That means it will never appear in the search engine results.
You may create accidental orphan pages in site migrations or redesigns. However, there are some intentional orphan pages, such as landing pages.
