What is a Page (Post Type)?
Pages are a specific post type in WordPress. These tend to be static pages, which make up the bulk of your website aside from posts. Pages do not show up alongside posts in the WordPress blog archives.
More About Pages
Every WordPress website has different types of pages. Standard pages tend to be static and they make up the high-level navigation options for sites. The best example of a static page is the homepage.
Depending on what type of website you want to create, you’ll want to set up other pages such as “About Us”, “Contact Us”, “Frequently Asked Questions”, and more. The primary difference between posts and regular pages is that the latter don’t tend to change very often. However, if you publish blog posts, product pages, or other types of content, entries may require constant editing and updating.
