What is a Post?
A post is a page type in WordPress, and typically, it refers to blog posts. WordPress was designed with blogging in mind, so many of its features help you create and publish posts.

Posts are at the core of the WordPress CMS. The software was initially designed to be a blogging platform. That means you get access to features such as post management, a full-blown editor, revisions, drafts, the option to review posts before they go live, and more.
The WordPress dashboard enables you to see any of your existing posts. There is a Posts tab that you can use to find previous posts, edit and update them, and create new ones.
The primary way you’ll create new posts is by using the Block Editor. However, plenty of WordPress plugins also offer alternative editors and page builders that help you to create posts using different approaches.
