What is a Static Front Page?
A static front page is a WordPress homepage that does not change. It can include a headline, images, or text to encourage users to go deeper into your site. However, it does not contain posts or other regularly-updated content.
More About Static Front Pages
WordPress automatically displays a list of blog posts on your homepage by default. If you would rather display different content, you will need to add a static front page.
To do this, start by navigating to Pages > Add New and create a new page titled Home. Once the page is designed to your liking, you can publish it.
Then, navigate to Settings > Reading. In this section, select A static page under Your homepage displays and choose the new Home page you just created from the Homepage dropdown menu. Finally, click on Save Changes.
