What are Uploads (Attachments)?
WordPress enables you to upload files directly from the dashboard or through FTP. It supports many file types for attaching images, documents, audio, and video.

WordPress supports file uploads such as JPG, PDF, DOC, MP3, MOV, and more. From the WordPress dashboard, you can upload these files to a post, page, or the Media Library.
When editing a post or page, you can insert a File block. Then, you can upload a file or select one from the Media Library. Here you can include a title, caption, and description.
After uploading the file, the block editor will automatically include a Download button. Still, you can change this text and the background color. You can also upload any files to the Media Library to quickly access them when creating content.
